With the challenges facing law enforcement today, we need your help. We need your help to ensure we can maintain public safety. There are many politicians that are actively calling for “Defunding the Police” as violent crime and unrest are increasing in our communities. They want to eliminate laws that keep you safe and take away tools and equipment that allow officers to do their jobs safely. They do not want to hold criminals accountable, while at the same time taking away police officers due process rights.
We must stand in opposition to unreasonable and failed policy ideas that will make it harder for law enforcement to keep you and your family safe. Our community and way of life depend on the rule of law and fair justice for ALL.

Candidate Endorsements
One of the primary objectives and purpose of the Nevada Police Union is to protect the interest of Nevada State Law Enforcement level. One way we do this is by supporting and endorsing candidates that we feel will help us meet those goals. If you are a candidate or represent a campaign that you feel has issues in common or certain synergies with the NPU and our stated goals then we’d like to hear from you.
To help us understand your platform with regards to the law enforcement community and the issues we face, we’ve partnered with the Public Safety Alliance of Nevada (PSAN) to create a vetting process for candidates. The first step in the process is to reach out and request a questionnaire from PSAN. They can be reached at jabel@lvppa.com. Once they receive your request, they will evaluate it for interest and send you an email with an attached questionnaire. When you complete it, please return it to them via email. PSAN will review it and if approved, our board of directors will evaluate your ideas and positions on issues important to our members.
